Salmon
I recommend using an air fryer for Salmon, certainly for casual meals. Great results, crisp skin, and little effort without the risks of under- or over-cooking on the stovetop.

Ingredients
- 1-4 salmon fillets, fresh or frozen (frozen will need to use the air fryer or be thawed first)
Seasoning
This is just one option — feel free to use your favorite seasonings, and scale to the number of fillets.
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Pinch of each:
- paprika
- garlic powder
- onion powder
- oregano
- salt
- 1 lemon, or lemon juice
Method
Prep
- Preheat the air fryer for 5 minutes at 390°F.
- In a small dish, combine the olive oil and seasonings and set aside.
Frozen
- Place the salmon fillets in the air fryer, skin-side down, and cook for 7 minutes.
- Open the air fryer basket and spread the seasoning paste over the salmon fillets.
- Cook for another 7 minutes, a few minutes longer if the fillets are on the thicker side, until the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
Fresh
- Spread the seasoning paste over the salmon fillets.
- Place the salmon fillets in the air fryer, skin-side down, and cook for 7 minutes, depending on thickness, until the meat separates easily with a fork.
Serve
Top with lemon juice and serve.
Storage
- Refrigerate cooked salmon in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- Salmon is excellent served cold in salads, wraps, or alongside vegetables.
- Cooked salmon can be frozen for up to 3 months.
- To reheat, use the air fryer at 350°F/175°C for 2–4 minutes, just until warmed through. Don't let the salmon dry out.
